We hope you enjoyed the 200th anniversary celebrations at the Goldsmiths Hall on 29th June. There were around 400 people enjoying the beautiful surroundings of what is possibly the most glamourous of all the livery halls in the City! It was a fine summer’s evening, and the feedback we have had from members and guests is testament to what an amazing and unique the Cazenove company has been to be a part of! Thank you to all who came to help us mark this huge milestone.
Our visit to Chartwell was a great success. The weather was far kinder than forecast – it was actually very warm. Sitting in the sunshine drinking coffee or having a light lunch and listening to nothing but birdsong – absolutely delightful. The house is laid out as it would have been in the 1920s and 1930s so you got a glimpse into what life was really like for Winston and Clementine Churchill.
It is time to start planning for the 2023 lunch! As always, coffee and tea will be served from 11.30am, the drinks reception begins at noon and lunch is served at 1pm. If you would like to come, and you are welcome to bring a guest, please let Christine know as soon as possble. If you would like to host a table of ten or 12, let me know. Cost is £25 per head. If you have said that you will be attending, but find out at a later date that you are unable to, please tell us as we need to know for catering purposes, and there is is usually a waiting list so we can let somebody else take your place. We look forward to seeing you there!
